Penfolds is a seventeenth century cottage situated in the small village of Bury, West Sussex, just off the A29, at the foot of the South Downs, close to the River Arun. It is located down a quiet village lane.
The Barn formerly belonged to the Norfolk estate, and was for many years used by Sidney Penfold, the local blacksmith and farrier as his workshop.
Howard and Susie Macnamara acquired Penfolds and the adjacent barn 26 years ago, and have recently created high quality overnight accommodation inside both.
They look forward to welcoming guests who wish to enjoy Bed and Breakfast with modern comforts in a character setting.
**** The Barn at Penfolds has been awarded Four Stars and a Gold Award by the English Tourist Board.
